Thanks for your message. Currently Network Nottingham acts as an online portal, but we're thinking of launching some 'face-to-face' networking events soon. Is this something that you would be interested in? If so, what are you looking for from an event? Would you pay to attend? How much?
Thanks, Kate

I have been to the usual Networking groups and some of them are very good. I am looking at starting one myself where business owners and professionals can meet up on a weekly basis and exchange cards, referrals and invite guests. I am still not sure if it is worth paying a networking group for this (politics can sometimes get in the way), I still need to weight up the pro and cons, but I may consider setting one up on my own (or through a networking group such as the BNI) if enough people are interested, serious and committed towards attending weekly and helping others grow their business. If this is of any interest to you please contact me.

If you are looking to set up your own networking group I may be able to help you in your search for a great location. I am the centre manager at MWB Business Exchange in Nottingham, a business centre offering meeting rooms which would be perfect to host such an event and plenty of contacts within the centre who may be interested in joining you on a weekly basis. We are competitively priced, are right in the heart of the city centre (on Wheeler Gate) and present a highly professional image. As a network Nottingham memeber I would like to offer you a chance to 'try us out' free of charge for your first networking event. Please do get in touch with me if this is something that interests you. I can be contacted either through this page or by calling the centre directly on 0115 852 4000 (opt 3).
Kind Regards
Anna Kiorkian

I would be interested but I first need to find around 20 people who would be interested in setting/joining a weekly meeting. So if anyone out there fancies it please let me know.

I would be more than interested in atending a weekly networking opportunity and if it was a city centre location it would make it even more appealing.
Having pre sold The Gym out of MWB on Wheeler Gate back in 2010 I can vouch that they provide a great base for such an event and you would have a large number of nottingham city centre based businesses already within the premises.
Look forward to hearing how the opportunity progresses.
Matt
