Professor Steve Diacon from Nottingham University Business School is back by popular demand following his thought provoking session on 'Managing Business Risk' in the 2011 programme of Ingenuity KnowledgeXchange breakfast events.
In this session he will discuss how the current challenging business environment has influenced or changed his views on managing business risk in a small business.
Margaret Burrell, specialist in commcercial contracts, will be showing you how to avoid 'non-critical risks' - the day to day risks faced by businesses which they often fail to identify, let alone manage, such as scope-creep, loss of confidential data.
If not managed, these issues can can significantly affect your bottom line and existing risk-strategies (eg insurance, confidentiality agreements) might not adequately address them. Margaret will explain how these risks can be reduced, cheaply and effectively.
