Nottingham Girl Geek Dinners are an opportunity for like-minded women to talk about technology over food and drinks. The events are aimed at providing a welcoming atmosphere and a platform for learning in an informal environment. They are usually held in local bars or restaurants, with a speaker who talks for a short while on a chosen subject for the evening.
Rules of attendance
Women are welcome to attend however if you are male and wish to attend this event you must bring a female with you or be brought by a female. NO FEMALE, NO ENTRY!!!! Sorry Guys! (We will keep the numbers balanced!)
The speaker for the evening in Susi O'Neill who provides digital media consultancy, specialising in product innovation, organisation development, skills, and digital marketing for commercial companies and business support organisations. She has worked with clients including Universal Music and East Midlands Development Agency. She also describes herself as an avant-garde musician and thereminist.
